The Resort La Pietra Piana (“The flat stone”) Restaurant Bed & Breakfast is located in Pietrapiana, municipality of Reggello in Tuscany and a few kilometers away from Florence. Lying on the slopes of Pratomagno massif, near the historic Benedictine Abbey of Vallombrosa, where in 1036 Saint John Gualberto founded this Monastic Order, whose followers still live in the monastery. Surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside, 500 meters above sea level, due to his protected position, the climate of B & B La Pietra Piana is always pleasant even in hottest summers as well as in harsh winters.
